Pool Remodeling
SERVING FORT LAUDERDALE, BOYNTON BEACH & NEARBY AREAS
Most South Florida pools start looking tired the same way, a little more every year. Nobody plans for it, but eventually the pool feels more like upkeep than a backyard. Elements KBF fixes the problems homeowners actually deal with, not just the ones that photograph well.
The Problems We Hear Most Often:
- Slippery, worn deck surfaces that feel unsafe barefoot.
- Faded, cracked, or stained tile that makes the whole pool look old.
- Pumps and filters that run constantly and still leave cloudy water.
- A pool shape or depth that doesn’t fit how the family actually swims. Not knowing what you’ll actually get for your budget.
Solutions We Offer
1) Slip-Resistant Decking & Walkways
A pool deck gets wet more than any other surface in your backyard, which is exactly where most pool accidents happen. Smooth pavers and polished stone look great on day one, then turn into a hazard the first time someone steps out of the water. We build decks and walkways in textured natural stone instead, chosen specifically to stay grippy even when it’s soaked.
Travertine (Honed or Brushed): Travertine’s natural pits and ridges give it grip without needing a slippery sealant on top. Honed travertine has a softer, worn edge and rounded texture. Brushed travertine keeps a flatter surface with a fine, non-slip grain. Both stay noticeably cooler underfoot than tile or concrete.
Granite (Honed or Bush-Hammered): Granite holds up to heavy foot traffic better than almost any other stone, which makes it a strong choice for busy walkways. Honed granite gets its texture from controlled heat treatment.
Beyond the deck surface, we also install secure fencing and code-compliant drain covers, so the full pool area meets safety code, not just the walkway.
2) Design Upgrades For Your Pool
Pool Resurfacing & Refinishing: Stains, rough spots, and faded color are signs your pool surface has reached the end of its life. We resurface it with materials built to handle Florida sun and chlorine for years.
Tile & Coping Installation: Cracked or discolored tile is usually a sign water is getting where it shouldn’t. New tile and coping fix the look and the leak risk at once.
Deck Remodel & Expansion: A worn, cracked, or too-small deck gets rebuilt from the ground up, widened if you want more room to lounge and entertain.
3) Structural Upgrades For Your Pool
Sometimes the problem isn’t how your pool looks. It’s how it’s built.
Reshaping & Depth Adjustments: A shallow end too shallow for adults, or a deep end nobody uses, wastes space and money. We reshape and adjust depth so the pool matches how your family actually swims.
Infinity Edges & Baja Shelves: A flat, boxy pool can look dated no matter how new the tile is. Infinity edges and baja shelves change the whole shape of the space, and baja shelves give younger kids a safe spot to play.
Water Features: A quiet, still pool doesn’t get used as often as one with movement and sound. Spillover fountains and other water features change that without a full redesign.
Our Pool Renovation Services
Custom Pool Renovation
No two backyards are the same, so a template design rarely fits. A custom pool renovation starts with your actual lot, not a catalog page. We work around existing landscaping, odd angles, and whatever layout your property gives us. If you want a pool that looks like it was built for your house and nowhere else, this is that job.
Commercial Pool Renovation
HOA pools, condo and apartment complexes, hotels, and gyms deal with different pressures than a backyard pool. Heavy daily traffic wears down surfaces fast, and code compliance isn’t optional. A commercial pool renovation gets scheduled to keep the pool closed for as short a window as possible, so residents and guests aren’t left without it for weeks. We build with materials rated for constant use, not occasional weekend swims.
